In small working groups, different CNI cards will be tackled with the assistance from experienced colleagues from the Arolsen Archives. Option 2 (led by Giora Zwilling): During the last year, many collections were newly indexed and cataloged in accordance with new standards, while some collections were catalogued for the first time. This workshop ad-dresses how this might alter and in many cases simplify your search strategies. Option 3 (led by Christian Höschler): Using documents from the Arolsen Archives for the preparation of memorial site trips in schools is the aim of the documentED project. In this workshop, you can engage in a class-room setting by working with a specially designed “toolkit” containing, among other re-sources, documents on an individual person who was imprisoned by the Nazis in the very place you and your fellow students would be visiting.
